Perimeter: ET update

There are lots of complaints about the video games business lacking innovation and new ideas. Yet, the previews of Perimeter: Emperor's Testament says quite the opposite:

Taken from the Gamespot preview:
"Emperor's Testament is an expansion to one of the most innovative--and underappreciated--real-time strategy games of 2004"

The IGN preview is using the same words:
"We finally get a look at the long awaited follow-up for K-D Lab's innovative RTS."

Just when you thought that you couldn't create innovative RTS games; or innovative sci-fi games for that matter...

More MMOs

Finally we have a really warm summer in Sweden. However this only increases the working speed :)

After my blog on MMOs, I have had several people contacting me with different suggestions on who we can contact for cooperation. I would be very surprised if Paradox does not go into a cooperation with an MMO company within a year.

Thanks to everyone who sent me e-mails with tips on MMO companies.

Victoria: Revolutions on a CD

Due to a massive lobby campaign for a CD version of Victoria: Revolutions we decided to make a CD of the game available through our own web shop in addition to the download version. This project is going to be really interesting to evaluate for future releases.

Several partners have contacted Paradox and expressed an interest to release a boxed version of the game... we will keep you updated.
